DOLLY MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Section I. DOLLY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
109. General
The dolly electrical system consists of a connector and wiring harness. Current supplied by the towing vehicle
is carried by the connector cable to a connector at the front of the dolly. A wiring harness runs from the
connector to the rear of the dolly to two taillights and blackout light.
110. Dolly Electrical Connector
a. Removal. Remove the dolly electrical connector as instructed on figure 52.
b. Cleaning and Inspection. Clean and inspect all parts. Replace defective connector.
c. Installation. Install the dolly electrical connector in reverse of instructions on figure 52.
111. Tail and Blackout Lights, and Dolly Electrical Leads
a. Removal. Remove the tail and blackout lights and the dolly electrical leads as instructed on figure
b. Disassembly. Disassemble the tail and blackout lights as illustrated on figure 54.
c. Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair. Clean and inspect all parts. Repair or replace defective parts.
d. Lamp and Lens Replacement. Replace the lamps and lens as illustrated on figure 54.
e. Reassembly. Reassemble the tail and blackout lights illustrated on figure 54.
f. Installation. Install the tail and blackout-lights in reverse of instructions on figure 53.
