b. Adjusting Spring.
(1) The spring tension can be increased by turning
the spring adjusting bolts in a counterclockwise direction or
a clockwise direction to decrease tension (fig. 4-71).
(2) A large open end wrench, as shown in figure
(3) Tighten to approximately 7/16" between coils.
